राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट का बड़ा फैसला: केजरीवाल–सिसोदिया समेत 23 आरोपी शराब नीति मामले में आरोपमुक्त
नई दिल्ली। कथित आबकारी नीति मामले में बड़ा न्यायिक घटनाक्रम सामने आया है। राउज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने सुनवाई के बाद आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल और पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया को आरोपमुक्त कर दिया है। अदालत ने इस मामले में दर्ज सीबीआई केस को बंद करने का आदेश भी दिया।
अदालत ने अपने आदेश में कहा कि जांच एजेंसी की ओर से ऐसा कोई ठोस और पर्याप्त साक्ष्य प्रस्तुत नहीं किया गया, जिसके आधार पर आरोप तय कर मुकदमा आगे बढ़ाया जा सके। कोर्ट ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि उपलब्ध दस्तावेजों और गवाहियों से किसी व्यापक साजिश या आपराधिक मंशा का प्रथम दृष्टया संकेत नहीं मिलता।
सुनवाई के दौरान अरविंद केजरीवाल और मनीष सिसोदिया व्यक्तिगत रूप से अदालत में उपस्थित हुए। अन्य आरोपी, जिनमें के. कविता और अमनदीप ढल भी शामिल हैं, वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से पेश हुए। अदालत ने सभी पक्षों की दलीलें सुनने के बाद फैसला सुनाया।
फैसले के तहत कुल 23 आरोपियों को आरोपों से मुक्त कर दिया गया है। इस आदेश के बाद संबंधित मामला न्यायिक स्तर पर समाप्त माना जाएगा, जब तक कि जांच एजेंसी उच्च अदालत में इसे चुनौती न दे।
इस निर्णय को आम आदमी पार्टी के लिए बड़ी राहत के रूप में देखा जा रहा है, जबकि राजनीतिक हलकों में इस पर प्रतिक्रियाओं का दौर भी तेज हो गया है।
Rouse Avenue Court Acquits Kejriwal, Sisodia and 23 Others in Excise Policy Case
New Delhi. In a major development in the alleged excise policy case, the Rouse Avenue Court has discharged Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. The court has also ordered closure of the CBI case registered in the matter.
While pronouncing the order, the court observed that the investigating agency failed to present sufficient and concrete evidence to frame charges and proceed with trial. It stated that the material placed on record did not prima facie indicate any larger conspiracy or criminal intent.
During the hearing, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia appeared before the court in person. Other accused, including K. Kavitha and Amandeep Dhall, joined the proceedings through video conferencing. After hearing arguments from all sides, the court granted relief to all accused.
As per the order, a total of 23 accused have been discharged in the case. With this decision, the CBI case stands closed for now, unless challenged before a higher court.
The verdict is being seen as significant relief for the Aam Aadmi Party, while political reactions are expected in the coming days.
