Dr. Rashmi Bajaj, an esteemed author and educator proficient in both languages, is gaining notable recognition at the World Book Fair for her literary achievements. Originating from Bhiwani, she continues to bring honor to her hometown on a national scale. Her celebrated works, including “Swayamsiddha” (2013), “Jurrat Khawab dekhne ki” (2018), and “Kahat Kabiran” (2022), are captivating audiences at the event. Additionally, her poetry is featured in the upcoming book ‘Kavita aur parivesh ,’ expected to be launched on the 15th.

Dr. Rashmi Bajaj, a significant figure in contemporary Indian literature, hails from Bhiwani, Haryana. Despite her small-town origins, she has emerged as a prominent poet and literary critic. Throughout her academic journey, marked by numerous accolades including a gold medal, distinctions at the state and university levels, and recognition as an all-round achiever, she has remained dedicated to literature, opting for it over more conventional career paths such as civil services.

With seven published works to her name, consisting of six poetry collections and a critical analysis, Dr. Rashmi Bajaj’s literary contributions have received widespread acclaim from national critics. Her writings serve as important subjects for academic research, with her internationally acclaimed critique “Women Indo-Anglian Poets: A Critique” being acknowledged by the U.S. Library of Congress as a standout publication in its genre in 1996, thus setting a milestone in the study of English poetry by Indian women authors.
